The French Institute in Slovakia and the French Institute in the Czech Republic organize on March 10th at 11.00 AM a discussion on the topic "Women & scientific carreers: shared perspectives between the Czech Republic, France and Slovakia" in English and French.
Echoing the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the International Women's Day and as France is getting ready to co-chairing the Generation Equality Forum, the French Institutes of the Czech Republic and Slovakia organize an online round-table discussion.
The event will gather specialists of gender issues in the academic world as well as women scientists that will share their own experience.
Amongst others, the following topics will be broached during the event: the role of education and the media, work-life balance, the impact of public policies in favour of equality.
Moderator:
- Aleš Vlk, former adviser to the Minister of Education of the Czech Republic and co-founder of Věda výzkum, online magazine on science and research in the Czech Republic.
