    Applications for allocation of bed

    1st year of studies in 1st, 2nd, 3rd study cycle, full-time students

An eligible applicant for accommodation in UMB student dormitories is a person who will be enrolled at UMB in full-time studies of a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral study program in the relevant academic year.

Doctoral students and international students are entitled to a bed in Student Dormitory for the whole period of their studies, on the condition that they register their application in the AiS-2 system. International students are not automatically given a bed in the subsequent academic years, if they have broken the dormitory rules and internal regulations of the SÚZ UMB.

The SÚZ UMB compares the social conditions and serious conditions in the families of the applicants when managing the accommodation capacity of its facilities to UMB students. The purpose of this activity is an indirect form of social support and at the same time a non-entitlement service in accordance with the Act on Higher Education in the form of allocating a bed to a student for the relevant academic year.

Information for the person concerned within the meaning of Art. 13 par. 1 and 2 on GDPR

    Criteria for allocating accommodation:

    1. Social conditions in the family (incomplete family – orphan, half orphan, divorce, unemployment of parents, social assistance benefits) submit:
      - death certificate, divorce judgement/decree absolute (first page is enough), custody and aliments,
      –  unemployment certificate, certificate of social assistance benefits
    2. Health issues – student submits:
    • holder of a “severely disabled” card (decision on the degree of functionality, photocopy of a card)
    • confirmation by a specialist doctor

3.Distance (the program automatically adds km)

    • Even if the reasons and conditions stated by the applicant are provably justified, the applicant is not guaranteed a positive response to his/her application for accommodation - a 1st year student is not allocated a bed automatically. The allocation of accommodation is mainly limited by the number of beds available and also by the number of applications submitted. Bed requests are evaluated by bulk processing and ranked according to the results.

Deadline for application for accommodation for the academic year 2021/22: 23. 07. 2021

Allocation of accommodation to students admitted to studies in the second round, or in appeal proceedings, will only be resolved at a later date in case of free bed capacity.

Payment for the allocated bed shall be done with credit transfers exclusively:
