The Rectors of the 9 partner institutions involved in the EMERGE European University Alliance project met in Brussels

On 13-15 November 2023, the Rectors of the 9 partner institutions involved in the EMERGE European University Alliance project, together with the Vice-Rectors for Internationalisation and members of the Consortium's Steering Committee, met in Brussels.

The Rectors discussed the strategic direction of the partnership and jointly signed the EMERGE Alliance Long Term Plan. They thus expressed their further support for the collaboration, which was already established in 2019 and has so far developed successfully. The consortium is currently working on a number of joint initiatives. One of them, aimed at promoting innovative educational methods, is the TRIP project. In the coming period, the consortium's activities will focus, among other things, on building a network of external partner institutions from the practice.

The EMERGE Alliance of European Universities is a platform for closer cooperation in the fields of education, participatory scientific research and improving the quality of life of local and regional communities. If you are interested in European universities, you can find more information about them on the European Commission's website.
