    International Village

The Town Hall of Banská Bystrica was filled by many visitors, eager to learn about other cultures and to taste the traditional foods prepared by international students studying at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica on the event that took place on the 8th of November 2017.

International Village is an annual event prepared by the ESN group with the objective to bring people from abroad together to the Town Hall to teach one another about their countries. On this occasion, around 100 guests and presenters gathered resulting in great atmosphere and a night to remember. The program ranged from presentations to traditional dances and even singing that everyone enjoyed. During breaks, everyone had the opportunity to eat and hopefully nobody left hungry.

To conclude, we can safely say that the mixture of people at the event pleasantly surprised everyone and the event beat the previous ones. With 14 countries present, everyone had a great time and made many new friends. Last, but not least, the afterparty was a success and served as a great opportunity for these new friendships to improve and bond.
