    UMB Support and Further Education Centre

    In 2024, Matej Bel University established a new The UMB Support anf Further Education Centre

     with a vision of a conceptual approach to several existing activities and newly prepared activities and services provided. The aim is to create a multi-level system of support for students, employees, and other people from outside the university who are interested in the university's educational offerings and accompanying activities, which complement the structure of standard study programs.

    The UMB Support anf Further Education Centre  was established at UMB with the aim of:

    • provide counseling to students who need help overcoming various obstacles, find themselves in difficult life situations, and face problems that prevent them from experiencing feelings of life satisfaction and meaningfulness – COUNSELING AND CRISIS INTERVENTION DEPARTMENT
    • create opportunities for personal and professional development and thus create a platform for high-quality, modern, lifelong and open education for all those who need to push the boundaries of their possibilities – DEPARTMENT OF CONTINUING EDUCATION
    • developing dialogue between the university and the wider public, thereby supporting a model of community life in the region in which UMB operates and fulfils its mission – UNI COMMUNITY DEPARTMENT
