    Alliances

Building Bridges Across Europe and Beyond

    Alliances

Matej Bel University is an active member and partner of several university alliances and consortia that connect leading Slovak and European institutions. Through these partnerships, we strengthen two-way mobility for students and staff, focus on developing joint degree programs and courses delivered in foreign languages, deepen research collaborations, and enhance our international visibility.

For UMB, alliances are a key instrument of transversal internationalization across education, research, and development, fully aligned with the Bologna Process and UMB’s Long-Term Plan. On this page, you will find an overview of the alliances and consortia we engage in, their goals, and the benefits for our students, academic staff, and researchers—from mobility opportunities to project and career pathways.
