Teaching of English Language and Literature
Admission to this programme requires English language proficiency at the C1 level or higher according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and completed bachelor’s studies in the field of study Teacher Training and Education Science and the programme English Language and Literature, in the field of study Philology and the programme English Language and Culture, or in another equivalent programme. If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the programme, applicants will be accepted in an order based on their weighted average mark from their bachelor’s studies.


Teaching of French Language and Literature
Admission to this programme requires French language proficiency at the B2 level or higher according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and completed bachelor’s studies in the field of study Teacher Training and Education Science and the programme French Language and Literature, in the field of study Philology and the programme French Language and Culture, or in another equivalent programme. Applicants may also demonstrate their level of French language proficiency by presenting at least one of the following credentials:
– an internationally recognized DELF or DALF French language diploma
– a French language proficiency certificate from a public or private language school in Slovakia or from a foreign institution that is authorized to issue language proficiency certificates
– native language – French
If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the programme, applicants will be accepted in an order based on their weighted average mark from their bachelor’s studies.

Foreign applicants to this programme who completed their bachelor’s studies in a language other than Slovak must also demonstrate Slovak language proficiency at the B1 level or higher, demonstrated by a certificate of Slovak language proficiency.
