Roman Law

Roman Law

The aim is to interpret the elementary knowledge of Roman law in an English language. The main topics are focused on Roman private law, which was very important model for the later European private law codifications. The students will deal with the elementary terms of law, the law of the person, rights in rem, ownership, possession and legal protection. This also allows the students to become familiar with creation, application and functioning of a legal system.
