    UMB IS A CERTIFIED INSTITUTION IN THE FIELD OF ADULT EDUCATION

    One of the first organisations in 2025

    UMB was one of the first organisations in 2025 to be included in the Register of Certified Institutions, which, according to the new Act on Adult Education (292/2024 Coll.), will be able to provide education leading to the acquisition of the so-called micro-certificate. Micro-credentials are currently one of the hottest topics in the field of education in Slovakia. According to the new legislation, they constitute proof of completion of a shorter education of at least 25 hours. Shorter forms of education leading to micro-credentials can be provided by universities or other educational institutions that have an internal quality assurance system in place.
