    Title of Honour Dr.h.c. awarded to the Croatian president H. E. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović

    The Title of Honour was awarded on Thursday 10th December 2015 at 14h30 at the ceremonial session of the Convocation at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica in the presence of the awardees. 

    Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović is a highly qualified professional in the field of theory and practice in international relations specialised in questions of safety and globalization as well as issues of integration of Southern European countries to European and transatlantic structures. She significantly contributed to the raising of international prestige and credibility of Croatia as a reliable and responsible member state of the EU and NATO as well as to a long term development of frank, affectionate and friendly relations between the Croatian Republic and the Slovak Republic.
