The delegation from the University of Inland Norway

Cooperation on the PPE programme is progressing

On 1-2 April 2025, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica welcomed a delegation from the University of Inland Norway, a partner university within the EMERGE Alliance. The aim of the visit was to deepen cooperation on the development of a joint international study programme in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE).

The meeting followed a meeting in January with a team from Europa-Universität Flensburg in Germany, which is also part of the project partnership. The joint efforts of the three universities are aimed at creating an attractive degree programme that links philosophy, political science and economics in the context of contemporary societal challenges.

The Norwegian delegation consisted of Gunnar Klinge, Anstein Gregersen, Cathinka Vik and Andreas Brekke Carlsson. Prof. Ulrich Glassman and Dr. Thomas from the University of Flensburg, Germany, also joined the working discussions online.

The international cooperation continues dynamically and is proof that the common goal of quality and internationally attractive education is within reach.
