    The State Scientific Library in Banská Bystrica in cooperation with the History Department of Faculty of Arts and the Slovak National Library in Martin (Slovenská národná knižnica) invites you to the scientific conference: The aristocracy of Central Slovakia and its effects on cultural development in the region which will take place on 27 and 28 October 2015 in The State Scientific Library, Banská Bystrica.

    University to city, city to university

    On Monday 21 October 2015 we promoted the cycle of events called “University to city, city to university” in the historic town hall of Banská Bystrica. We opened with a selection of graduates´ theses from the Department of art culture from the Faculty of education to the public. The art group Mladosť, artistic and pedagogical figures and graduates from the Department of art culture from the Faculty of education of Matej Bel University (UMB) were performing as well.

    Another event of the cycle “University to city, city to university” will take place on 18 November 2015 at 17.00 in the historic town hall of Banská Bystrica. It will be a musical and inspirational soirée along with a selection of the author´s works from the Department of art culture in the Faculty of education UMB with specialization in creative art education.
