    New professors at UMB

    On Tuesday, 11th of June 2019, the President of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Andrej Kiska appointed 37 new professors.

    Mr. President expressed his thanks to the newly appointed professors and wished them lots of success in fulfilling their duties in the profession of science, research and teaching staff.

    Newly appointed professors at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica are:

    • prof. PhDr. Alexandra Bitušíková, CSc. – Faculty of Arts, UMB in the area of ethnology
    • prof. JUDr. Milan Ďurica, PhD. – Faculty of Law, UMB in the area of business and financial law
    • prof. Ing. Vanda Maráková, PhD. – Faculty of Economics, UMB in the area of tourism
