    ERASMUS+ INFO DAY AT UMB

"Erasmus is not just about academics - it´s about personal transformation. You´ll develop independence, adaptability, resilience and confidence that will benefit you throughout your life and career."

As every year, UMB participated in the #ErasmusDays initiative this October. #ErasmusDays means an international celebration of the Erasmus+ programme, during which projects and events organized through Erasmus+ are promoted. For students, teachers, trainers, professionals, and citizens in general, #ErasmusDays represent a unique opportunity to showcase the many benefits this programme offers.

The International Cooperation Office at UMB organized the Erasmus+ Info Day on October 14, 2025, which this year took place in the Ceremonial Hall of the Faculty of Economics at UMB. The event enjoyed great attendance and interest from students, who had the chance to learn everything about the programme’s opportunities, receive individual consultations, take part in a quiz, hear success stories from fellow students who have already experienced mobility abroad, and get to know the home universities and countries of our incoming students.

During the event, the student organization ESN – Erasmus Student Network presented its buddy programme and activities for international students, and SAIA – Slovak Academic Information Agency introduced other programmes that enable our students to go on mobility. We were also pleased by the participation of UMB faculty members and welcomed guests – Erasmus+ teachers from Poland currently on mobility at the Faculty of Education, who shared information about their university.

The Erasmus+ Info Day at UMB marked the launch of the application process for mobility in the upcoming academic year 2026/2027. The application is open until the end of the year and is a prerequisite for participating in mobility – don’t forget to apply!
