    Research projects

Slovak folk dances from Banát, Báčka and Sriem in the archives in Slovakia

A methodological DVD by PhDr. Stanislav Dúžek, CSc. and PhDr. Zuzana Drugová was issued in 2013 by the Memorial Centre of Dr. Janko Bulík in Kovačica, Serbia. The DVD was made thanks to the financial support of Slovaks living abroad, as they supported the implementation of the research in archives in Slovakia and the digitalisation of the acquired materials in 2012. In 2013, the ÚSŽZ (Office for Slovaks Living Abroad) supported the project to release a DVD in 2014 for teachers training with the aim of presenting the results of research and its possible usage in the current activities of folkloric ensembles in the Lowlands. The research resulted in the identification of all archival records in Slovakia, in the digitalisation of the records and in the expert analysis of individual records by an ethnoarcheologist Mgr. Stanislav Dúžek, PhD. In 2014, we presented the DVD during the training for folkloric ensembles in Kovačica.
